    I might hate trees.

Okay. I do like shade. And fruit.

But LEAVES? Not so much. My neighbor has a strange tree. It seems like itís entire purpose for existing is to puke leaves into my yard. I have a flat roof, so itís an additional pain in the ass. I am saving money to remove the roof and remodel to a more sloped and modern design. Until then; itís war. They actually have two of these tress. One for my front yard and one for my back.

I just bought a gas a gas powered blower with a vacuum attachment. I might have cracked the code to this battle. Itís the dustiest event ever. Next time Iím wearing a respirator. I was brown from head to toe. Leaf brown.

They love their tree and want to plant more. Itís the perfect condition to go up like a Roman candle. Whatever. I upped my home insurance

Matbe i should just move move into a downtown condo. Haha.

You might qualify for some sort of carbon credit if you let them pile up.

I am in the trades, used to hate flat roofs, but now that I am older I wish I had a flat roof as I could do all the maintenance. Look into laws that pertain to solar panels being blocked by neighbors trees. One of my construction customers said this was a thing (classic Belvedere "bad neighbor squable", where both homeowners bought homes for $450,000 and they are worth $2-3 million now, and they hate each other, eye roll). They love to tell me what real estate genius's they are. Neighbor had Palm Tree installed, and blocked view of Golden Gate Bridge from my customers 10 foot wide giant window. Used some solar panel restriction and made guy cut it. Good job on leaf blower! Water your lawn, get his car wet, and blow that cr(a)p on his cars.

A sloped roof just means you're more likely to slip and fall while you're blowing the leaves off.

In fact, if you can stand on the roof without needing to be holding onto a rope, so can the leaves.

On the other hand, you can save 15% or more on your car insurance by switching to GEICO.

I just got an Echo leaf vacuum/ muncher on sale for just a tad over 200.00. It takes a canful of leaves in and when I empty the bag, it's only a 1/4 can. Works great on leaves.

    Goddam auto-correct!

Add Ivy above head-high and bougainvillea to that list. Nothing like a utility pole covered in ivy for a rat condo.

Jacaranda trees are the worst. Great looking tree for about 5 weeks but the rest of the year they shed flowers and sticks like crazy. At my last house my neighbor had a huge one planted up against the other side of my fence. A constant mess. I dug a hole on my side of the fence until I got down to the roots and poured a tree killer into the hole. It took about a year and a half but it finally died...

My elderly fathers house has a huge assortment of trees in his his yard. The neighbor next to him has several as well. They have a huge Cottonwood in the back that normally every year dumps into my dads yard. I know, I have to go over and clean them up every year. This year however we had high winds for two days which blew all the leaves from my dads yard and the next door neighbors yard directly across the street to a house that has ZERO trees in its yard. There was a 2í tall berm of leaves nestled up against this guys house front of the house the full length of the house. I noticed it and felt bad, I was planning on going over in my next day off to clean that guys yard up. Two days passed and I was too late, he cleaned it up himself and it would seem dumped them in the front yard of my dads house and the other neighbors front yard. LOL. I canít prove it and Iím not positive, but it sure seems thatís what happened. I guess I donít blame him for doing so.
