Free Solo in NorCal theaters this weekend

I thought I would give a heads up to my mountain biking brothers and sisters (many of you who also climb rocks) about this crazy documentary film. It's playing in a few theaters in the Bay Area and NorCal as listed below. I'm not sure how long it will run in theaters, since documentary films tend to come and go pretty quickly.

Even for those of you who don't climb rocks, I think you can relate to pushing past fear when tackling a challenging trail.

    Here is the trailer:

Here is a list of theaters where this film is playing. You have to scroll through since there is no real order to the list.

Yep, I'm going. I got to meet Jimmy Chin a couple a years ago, all the Camp 4 guys are very inspiring, and very humble given their accomplishments.

Saw it with my wife yesterday in Berkeley, and it was incredible! It's adrenaline junkie porn. Great work Jimmy and Chai!

I thought this was about Han Solo, but like Free Willy.

As a paid witness to the film, I can say it was well worth the exorbitant fee.

Just got back from seeing it.

Most of the time I was completely absorbed.

It's good news, and a good example.

Made me happier to be human seeing another do something simply outstanding.

    Recommend.

This film is amazing. Best thing I have seen on the screen in many years. Utterly gripping even if like me you already knew all about it and how it would end. If it doesn’t win an Oscar, then the Oscars should be fired. Must see on the big screen! Get out there and see it soon!
