Extreme longshot advice for Sequoia/Hume lake

My friends have a cabin in Wilsonia, as seen on map. They like to drive down to Hume lake and I like to ride my bike. I have done both routes as seen on map (arrows) and I am wondering if anyone knows of a trail/fireroad to Hume from Inspiration point (up behind
ranger station- you can see Hume from there several miles down in a basin) I am having trouble finding any Forest Service map for the area online This is just a longshot post in case any Trogs might be aware of something with less road involved. Thanks- I'm going up there in 2 weeks July 24ish.

I just looked on my TOPO program and it shows a bunch of interconnecting dirt roads that go almost all the way to Hume. The closest one comes within one small hill from the town which may mean they connect but not on the map. I'll try and send you a jpg of the area. The name of the forrest service quads for that area are called "Hume" and "General Grant Grove" in case your still searching.

Wow, that would be great.......the topos I found did not seem to have any roads on them...even ones I know exist. Thanks!!
