    EMT, Pogonip,UCSC trails at risk?

I live in the mountains and am on the Cal Fire mailing list. This does not sound good:

The trails are not at risk yet. It has been burning down the hill from Hwy 9. The ranger enforcement is the real danger.

The good news is.... there's hardly any wind. That is the real inferno maker.

Yep, hwy9 still closed between Paradise Park and Felton this morning. Fire is on the other side of the hwy from any legitimate trails and most of the illegitimate trails. Burned down to the river. Lots of smoke, no wind.

As of ~9am Monday - "[RinconFire] is now 17 acres and 30% contained. Forward progress has been stopped and crews remain on scene mopping up and patrolling heavy timber and slash. Highway 9 remains closed." https://twitter.com/CALFIRECZU/statu...92093784014848
