Pretty sure I went in there once when i had the unfortunate luck to end up at the mall. The food was completely forgettable, and I remember their IPA being good, but I also remember being confused as they had a lot of not their own beers.

Unfortunately for them it's what, less than a 10 minute walk to either Aleworks or Russian River both of which are far better options.

Looks like I"m not the only one who felt that way either. https://www.reddit.com/r/santarosa/c...wery_to_close/

    Ok. Thanks for the link.

Never been, myself, but I don't like hearing about breweries closing.

From your link: Maybe they should have actually had some good brews before opening. That place was disappointing. Went there once and thought that it was laughable that they had only 1 of their own brews and that they were so proud that they finally had their own beer. Seems like opening was their priority and beer was an afterthought. And now they're blaming the fires. They should be blaming the fool that thought that they had a plan because they clearly didn't have a good one.

Yeah, not a great loss. Forgettable food, beer and service, unfortunately. The mall is dying too. I'd love to see them tear that fvcking place out of there.

-This get's proven over & over again: Produce mediocre/poor beer and you won't survive.

There's something like 7,500 Breweries in 'Merica these day's. That's a LOT of competition and life's just to short to drink shitty beer when you have options.

I didn't even know there was a mall in Downtown Santa Rosa... Why would you open a brewery in something so emblematic to the changes of retail in America as a defunct mall?

Exactly. It was a few blocks from my work, so I gave them chances but the service sucked, the beer was not worthy, the service was almost negligent on purpose. Plus they started out saying they would be a bike centric place, but they barely even gave a nod to that. Seemed like they never really even decorated the place. Gotta be way more on your beer and bike game in Santa Rosa if you want a following.

Also, the access from the Mall was awful, down a hall past the bathrooms... so I doubt they got any walk-ins. Tho I do agree I wish they would tear it down and reconnect the downtown to Railroad Square.

Local Barrel and RRB always won out for an after work beer.

Too many downtown options with better selection and parking.
