    Cloud Seeding

I'm just going to throw this out for others to share and spread the idea. Why and how is it Sochi could run cloud seeding to finalize clarifying the air enough that the Olympics could be held yet NO ONE has pushed the idea of CLOUD SEEDING Northern California? We already have a system moving in. How's about doing cloud seeding to run the rest of this particulate matter and smoke out of the air? Is it even something doable?

There have to be clouds already there.
You can't seed a clear blue sky.

But the smoke particulates would provide condensation nuclei help to precipitate the most amount of moisture out of the clouds when they arrive, it's kinda like cloud seeding already...so you do have that going for you...

Cloud seeding leads to cloud weeding. Cloud weeding leads hate, hate turns to anger, anger turns to online shopping, online shopping leads to buying a bike with too much suspension, to much suspension leads to sending it, sending it turns to augering, augering leads to pain, pain leads to weed dispensary, I want nachos.

    It's been tried before

I vaguely remember seeing aircraft with seeding apparatus attached at SJ Municipal Airport back in the dim times. Might have even talked to one of the pilots.

Slight increase in rainfall; read all about it:

Valid question OP, and whos knows if its being done and intentionally swept under the rug, or intentionally left off the table? If it's not being attempted, I find it hard to believe that its not for sinister reasons....'never let a good crisis go to waste...'

If they're trying to seed clouds under the rug then that's probably why it's not working. They should be doing it in the sky.

Even if there were enough atmosphere moisture to seed and produce rain seeding the whole of California would be impossible. Furthermore you would have to con;tinuously do it as dry undergrowth seems to be the fuel for a lot of these urban area fires. Then there's pine beetle etc. etc., natchos fir sure.
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

Yeah - the end of cavities in my mouf. I spent my entire youth drinking water out of garden hoses while collecting returnable bottles to buy endless wads of heavily-sugared gum and Squirts. I have had a single filling my entire life. One cavity. The world is made of chemicals. Drink up! Life is a conspiracy.

Isn't that crazy? This is a pure wind induced fire catastrophe. And then it completely dies a day later to suffocate the area.

I wonder how long ppl in SF are going to walk around with these ridiculous paper masks on? It's getting annoying - the air is good enough. People in front of bars pulling them down to hit a cigarette. You look like idiots. Send the cases of masks where they are needed. You kooks are clearing the shelves. PS, your yoga mat and boba tea sucks, too. And your Jump bike. Who's old?

That's the thing about cumulative MSD (musculo-skeletal disorders), you feel fine on day one, day 60, day 360, but years down the road you get complications and they correlate to things like particulates, heavy metal exposure (not the Judas Priest kind), and so on. It's easy to pass it off, but as someone who has had a good deal of schooling in Industrial Hygiene and safety, these are reasonable precautions, as is living in a place where it's actually not unhealthy to exercise outside.

Interesting read on Fluoridation here: Toxic Treatment: Fluoride's Transformation from Industrial Waste to Public Health Miracle | Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective

Remember it's an industrial waste product being put into water supplies, not pharmaceutical grade fluoride. When introduced into our water supply in a highly regulated and controlled manner, there's not much risk and you're going to be okay. All it takes however is one f-up and we have huge health problems.

Dang, why you gotta hate on trace elements of arsenic and lead? I don't let my family drink the water, anyway - it may be from the Sierra snowpack, but I don't trust whatever is living in the 'last mile' of ancient SF water pipes.

There's a whole thread about it with pictures for proof over on the OC. We've debunked all the sphere myths over there. It's a really smart and scientific bunch on MTBR. We're even putting rakes on our bikes, just to help out the firemen.
Seed the clouds with little rakes!
So many trails... so little time...

From the Flat Earth Society FAQ:

Q What does the earth look like? How is circumnavigation possible?

A The earth is surrounded on all sides by an ice wall that holds the oceans back. This ice wall is what explorers have named Antarctica. Beyond the ice wall is a topic of great interest to the Flat Earth Society. To our knowledge, no one has been very far past the ice wall and returned to tell of their journey. What we do know is that it encircles the earth and serves to hold in our oceans and helps protect us from whatever lies beyond.
I have been there, I rode my bike as far as I could and this is where I ended up. Couldn't go any further.

    Incredible photos btw.

So, an accurate model of the earth would be something like this.....mountain and ridges in the center, with a large outer ring holding in the moisture, all floating in space with other similar planets?

Yes, and their website said the ring of mountains and ice was to protect us from what lies beyond.

I think the ring is protecting the outside from what's inside.

That's simply a matter of perspective.
