    Carlmont?

Looking for some info about Carlmont. Where to park (what street)? How’s the climbing? Are all the trails accessible in a single day, from a single climbing point?

    There's a map on Trailforks.

Single day coverage depends on how many times you want to climb the hill.

    Bottom: end of Valerga Dr.
Top: near the top of Hastings Dr.
Wear protection as it's dry and marble-y.

Carlmont elevation is pretty small. You can easily session the hill without a shuttle, but if you can find a friend with a truck the laps are way more enjoyable.

Thanks. I know there are some large features/jumps there, but is there also some smaller or moderate jumps just to practice on and do them multiple times? Are the larger features/drops ride around able on the DH runs if they are way out of my league?

Every jump has a go around or can be rolled and there are a lot of smaller ones too. You only need a DH bike if you are hitting the big stuff you see on YouTube. Most of it is smaller bumps and stuff. The thing out there is that the ground is very unforgiving - like broken glass in some spots. Enduro/Trail bike is fine.

So do you basically hike the bike up the trail you want to ride, or is there a separate trail to hike up?

There is a 'Blue' trail on trailforks that gets you up there with the least amount of suffering.
