Calling Briones Mafia...
..believe it or not, the fire road from Old Briones Rd. to the top of the 3 way was pretty much dry! Lots of cattle roaming, but I was stoked to see only bits & pieces of muddy sections. Dan'ger, maybe it won't be a full 2 weeks before those Tues night rides? Maybe less? And you'll be a new Dad by then, hm......

I will probably be in a position to miss more Tuesday night rides than make them due to new daddyhood.
Lets tentatively say that next week, Tuesday night Briones rides are back in season even if I won't be there!

Sweet! I am in, I am in, I am in! I know; I've heard all about Briones but hey it's somewhere new to me and I am looking forward to my first BM ride.
Did I tell you that I am in?....

Yeah. If it turns out too mucky to ride up Orchard, we can always divert to the road and avoid drunk drivers on our way up to the other staging area.

Are you sticking with 6:30 again?
I may be up for an earlier ride.

Can anybody tell me the low down about this ride?
How long?
How much burn time is needed on the light?
Singletrack?
Elevation?
Tuesday 6 30?
Thanks.

We typically went 12-15 miles, 2 hours, therebouts, and I dunno about elevation. Put a gun to my head, I would guess 1500-2000 feet.
Briones is great at night, but the hills are pretty steep, both up and down. Bring your granny gear!
I can't wait!
Hey, all. I'm going to start up the Briones Mafa Yahoo group again. Shoot me your email address, and I'll make sure you're on it!
