All rock! Knobs captures the essence of Nor Cal riding though IMHO.

FC's has the poison oak and the mountain lion, but no mountain lion knife. I voted for it anyway, but this should be rectified in the final version.

Curious on finch's awesome design - where in norcal is it actually legal to ride with a dog off-leash? (within 100 miles of the bay) I had to move out of state!

See my sig. May be a little farther than 100 miles, depends.

Edit: Well, not exactly legal, but there's no one out there to tell you different, unless they see you in the parking lot. I haven't had a problem in 30+ years.

Rboardman, but I liked the one posted before featuring the fire, and the uhaul truck. Had a good laugh. Probably would have purchased one, true Redding style.

    It's rigged I'm telling you, it's rigged.

The first one is by 5Klegs, but there is no 5Klegs in the results, only a 5kbike. People have been confused and voted somewhere else. Then we have the guy that is running the pole with his own submission in there, and who got to narrow down the finalist list? Hmmm. I can see the results going to the Supreme court and being contested.

Wait, I'm getting a message from my press secretary.

Hey fc what happens if its even at midnight? Do they get half each or do you have to dip into mtbr coffers and produce a second voucher? See this is always what happens when people try to be nice, some smart ar$e comes along and complicates things.

    Cool. And translucent too.

I was in the early lead, I would demand a recount if my designís current standings werenít 6%. Ugh. But this cool deadhead deserves a chance.

Is Finch's campaign preparing a concession speech? Are we counting hanging chads?

I think Finch is busy inspecting the inside of his eyelids in preparation for the next campaign.

Or he might be on the phone to Mueller, one of the two.

This is B.A.D.A.S.S. and I would totally buy one if I had the moolah. Can we get a group thing going? How many buyers to get the price down, I forget? 12 or 20?

*Ahem* Excuse me. EXCUSE ME! I'd like to say a few words...

In a contest as long and difficult as this campaign has been, SikeMo's success alone commands my respect for his ability and perseverance. But that he managed to do so by inspiring the hopes of so many hundreds of Americans who had once wrongly believed that they had little at stake or little influence in the design of a mere fender is something I deeply admire and commend him for achieving.

Iíve always believed that America offers opportunities to all who have the industry and will to seize it. SikeMo believes that, too. But we both recognize that though we have come a long way from the old injustices that once stained MTBR's reputation and denied some Americans the full blessings of American fender design, the memory of them still had the power to wound.

I urge all Americans who supported me to join me in not just congratulating him, but offering our next contest our good will and earnest effort to find ways to come together, to find the necessary compromises, to bridge our differences, and help restore our prosperity, defend our bicycles in a dangerous world, and leave our children and grandchildren a stronger, better MTBR than we inherited.

    Thank you, and good morning.

Is this over yet? And does my vote count? Anybody care to sweeten the pot in order to get me to vote for them in these late stages of the race?

Talk about skim expert extrodinaire. Voting closed midnight Tuesday, I called the results at 00:15 and no, no-one cares about your votes now. We did before but just like life, you came too late.

Apparently I didnít give a rats ass about the contest enough not to skim.

And not a personal attack at all on everyoneís hard work and creativity. All fenders do is tell me youíre out scarring up the trails in the mud anyway.

Thanks, fc, for donating your fender, and thanks to GroundKeeeper Fenders as well. Hope they get some bidness out of this.

    That was a fun contest!

Ooh, they make top caps too. (hint, hint) I wonder if we can make custom ones of those as well...

Looks good, fc. I've got red accents on my bike too. I like the shape/size of it better than my Mucky Nutz.

I'll get the voting started today in the General Forum.

    https://forums.mtbr.com/general-disc...n-1100779.html

I like that the fender is super dialed since in Norcal, it's for decorational purposes only, for something this small.
