    AUBURN/FOLSOM Trail Work Dates!

    Name: logo.png

All we asked from Santa was the chance to get our hands dirty and give our awesome local community a chance to give back to our trails a bit.

    He obliged

Please note the dates below, and spread the word/stoke among your fellow riders!

Please do make sure you RSVP as soon as you can; nothing draws a crowd like a crowd, and it makes planning for the crew leads and land managers much easier! RSVP here, on our FB event, or MeetUp page (just not all of the above)

Rain will cancel. Free lunch (to those that RSVP!) and parking for volunteers. Tools provided. As always, feel free to bring the bike and ride afterwards

State Parks has an equipment operator slated to put in some much needed work on Eastside in April, and they've asked that we make room and help out by brushing beforehand. Sweetwater always needs some bushinwackin', and Culvert always needs some love with the amount of traffic it gets.....

January 12th : Brushing Eastside Trail ( Mammoth Bar)

Meeting at 0800 at the Auburn Ranger Station and carpool from there

January 26th: Brushing Eastside Trail ( Mammoth Bar)

    - time TBD, meeting location TBD

    February 2nd: Sweetwater Trail (FLSRA)

Time 0800, meet at Sweetwater Lot (Upstream/east end of trail)

February 16th: Treadwork on Culvert Trail -

    Time and meeting location TBD

For years I griped that trail work days were always on weekends, and I had Wednesdays off. Now trail work days are Wednesdays and I have weekends off. DOH!

They're all on Saturdays. Need to look at January and not December.

Yeah, thing is, I left a buttload of tools out there many years ago, and he's said he's got a couple of them. 🔧 <--------- not that kind

Can you recall all the tools you left out there? I know of 1... and I've offered to get it back to you about a dozen times! Offer still stands! Come to the Hangover Ride at Falcon Crest on January 1st.... 11am start. We'll be hitting those old trails, and I can give you your mini-pick back!

Is there an update for location on January 12th?

Looks like it might rain. If the weather is good I would like to ride in Rockville on the 12th and volunteer on January 19th instead.

Is the Auburn Ranger Station the station you pass driving down to the Confluence?

    POSTPONED!!!

This Saturdays workday on Eastside has been postponed to the 26th due to weather and conditions. Sorry for any inconvenience, but its better than playing slip and slide while running a chainsaw

    Hope to see you there.
