_____ Bike Park is the best public bike park in the Bay Area!

I think it's Pleasanton. I know I'm gonna hear it from the Aptos locals!

Progression: It is frequently changing and there's something for everyone. New lines get dug in. Several major overhauls have been done over the years. Who here remembers the dirt half-pipe experiment?

Proximity: It's close to major highways and even public transportation (7 flat miles from BART). 80% of the Bay is within 1 hr of the park.

    Size: it's 2.75 acres. There's lines everywhere.

It has a freakin' 3000 sq ft RC Car Area (ok, maybe that's nothing to brag about )

Don't agree with me? Tell me why your bike park is better!

3000sq ft RC car area? its like 50ft by 10ft. ? lol

plus i was there last week, and i saw city of pleasanton breaking and removing the pvc in that section.

the guy that built that place was there last week shaping up a new lip on an existing mound...he's trying to find a way to get some $$$ so he can add a 5 pack along the fence line, and redo the pump rollers.

my house is directly behind the bike park on vineyard, so i frequent that place on my DH and bmx bike. really a nice park.

City of Pleasanton - BMX Park

A recent addition to the BMX Park is a Remote Control (R.C.) Car Area. This 3,000 square foot area was designed to accommodate most model remote control cars and their drivers, and includes bumps and jumps along a narrow winding course. The fenced area is located at the far south end of the gravel parking lot, and is completely separate from the BMX riding area.
Yeah, seriously... that's way too big for the actual space.
