30 Miles of New Trails Planned for Hidden Falls

Hidden Falls Park near Auburn has an opportunity to add 30 miles of new trails and new parking sites. This is a "shovel ready" opportunity, meaning, if this passes, digging happens. We just need you to take a minute to sign the petition.

More trails, more parking, more trailheads and less crowded trails at Hidden Falls park. If that sounds good to you, take one minute to sign the petition. This needs to be approved by the county, and we need your support.

With the additional 30 miles of new trails, Hidden Falls would then have 60 miles of trails to ride! That changes the dynamic of Hidden Falls!

Thank you for your support! #TrailLove

I love Hidden Falls. Great place for a mellow ride and great place to take noobies. Hopefully they put in some slightly harder trails, but even just 30 more miles of what they have would be awesome.

Our high school riders helped build some pretty fun trails at Taylor Ranch Preserve in 2015. It would be nice to be able to ride them. The terrain on the other side of the creek is very, very cool. Lots of rock!

That's super exciting. As others have said some more challenging trails would be cool, but honestly any more trails would be great! #signed

I signed the petition and also commented in favor of the Parks and Trails Master Plan a while back.

NIMBYs hate this, but I'm optimistic they're going to be overruled. The fire risk op-ed was one of the most disingenuous POS pieces of writing I've ever read...

Who are the trails for or who has access?

Currently they are only rideable during Placer Land Trust events. The area is closed to the public while this NIMBY mess is dealt with. So while parking at a trailhead isnít critical for cyclists, hopping gates to get in is highly frowned upon.

Iíll wager that some of the local opposition is trying to protect their unfettered and illegal access to land they donít own.
