    are XTR/XT/SLX finned brake pads...

interchangeable with M615?...I have a friend that has a new set of finned resin F01A 2nd version that he wants to sell...he has XT and I have 2014 M615...I checked Shimano's website, and it wasn't clear to me...they certainly look to be a doable upgrade

just saw the m615 pads, now i am no mechanic, i do know my way around my bikes however. this is just my thought. the pad surface looks to be the same area as it does on the finned pads. , the pin that skewers the pad on top of the caliper is located at the same height relative to the braking surface on both types of pads, so maybe this will work.

I believe the 615s accept the finned pads.
