    XT shifter mount help

Iíve got an XT shifter that was mounted to a hope brake w/adaptor. I moved the brakes to another bike, and I put the adapter on so long ago, I donít remember how the shifter mounted w/o the adapter. What am I missing?

What do you want to do, mount the shifter onto the bar or onto another brake lever?

    What model XT shifter?

    SL-M????

The bar clamp SL-M8000 uses a different base cover to the I-Spec SL-M8000.

    Bar clamp: https://si.shimano.com/#/en/EV/SL-M8000
    I-Spec B: https://si.shimano.com/#/en/EV/SL-M8000-B-I
    I-Spec II: https://si.shimano.com/#/en/EV/SL-M8000-I

Problem solvers makes bar clamps for I-Spec II & I-Spec B shifters.

That shifter looks more like an I-Spec EV M8100 shifter though - are you on 11s or 12s?
