Where do I find Shimano rear adapters?

I'm going to upgrade to Shimano XT rear 180mm rotors and I can't find a180mm post mount to post mount adapter. Help?

a local bike shop, it's about $10 a piece. They are packaged up for retail, just like their disc pads. Unless it's Specialized (SJ is 140mm post), I'd think it's identical to your front disc post mount.

It's the same as the front 180 and it's only marked as a front, but fits both.

    Threw me at first also.
How can anyone who's been riding as long as I have, be so slow???

I'm guessing the up arrow points to the front of the bike, but that's an uneducated guess.

The arrow on the adapter always points in the direction that the wheel/rotor spins when you ride the bike.

I found this thread while looking for the same solution. My bike currently is 180mm front with the +20mm post mount adapter and the rear 160 direct on post mount. I want to upgrade the front to 200/203 and the rear to 183/180. (can recall if 200 or 203 and 180 or 183).

I have an extra Shimano 180 post mount that I can try on the rear, so that works (cobba - thanks for the tip on the arrow facing same as rotor spin). What do I need for a Fox 34 with 160 post mount in order to go to a 200mm rotor?

Same story.. looking for a part number to mount 180mm XT brakes to a RS Pike, which is a post mount - screws go front/back.

    I will be using a SM-RT86M 180mm 6-bolt rotor.

As for the rear, I think it's an IS mount, the mounting screws go left/right. I will be using a 160mm RT-86M rotor for that.

Thanks, sorry for all the questions.. I'm learning what those people at bike shops already know! I'd like to order the part once and make sure it fits.

    PM fork + 180mm rotor = SM-MA-F180P/P2
    IS frame + 160mm rotor = SM-MA-R160P/S
