SRAM Level TL Brakes Busted Seal?

Any help would be appreciated... I was installing a Sram Level TL brake on the fork of a new bike. My understanding was it was prebled. After removing the plastic guard between the pads and installing the front wheel I clamped down on the lever and immediately there was the sound of a sharp loss of air and oil shot out of the middle of the brake body. The piston does not engage and every time I press the lever oil seeps out of the brake body at the same spot it shot out.

Take it back to where you bought it, the brake is faulty.

Yes, take it back. The brake caliper failed.

    Just to be sure....

These brakes were mounted on the fork and the front wheel and rotor was installed?
