Some discussion of these over on the old Brake forum, here's an example:
    http://forums13.consumerreview.com/c...8le.5@.efde257
    <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" border="0"> <tbody><tr><td colspan="2" align="left">
Crickey...Those Hope Mini boosters DO work."
</td> </tr> <tr> <td width="100%" colspan="2"> At first I was hesitant to believe it was them as it could have been just "in my mind".
Went on the usual commutes today and things are definitely more "progressive" in the lever feel department. I still get the modulation but bite comes in harder right at the end of the lever pull. Pads are EBC Golds.
This little tweak has made a fantastic set of brakes even better. Slowing down has never been so much fun.

</td></tr></tbody> </table> Do a search for Hope Mini clamp over there and you'll turn up other posts as well.

I put mine on before ever riding the bike so I can't say for sure if they make a difference. My wife has ridden my bike and says she can feel the difference (she doesn't have the clamps on her Mini's). I have ridden her bike but it is bigger than my bike and I didn't feel like dropping the saddle so I couldn't really go fast and therefore couldn't judge the feel very well.

I put some on after my calipers started spliting apart and getting brake fluid all over the pads and discs. They solved that problem. As for change in feel, It's hard to say how significant a change it made but I have never riden a brake I liked better.

Seems kinda pricey for what you get (a couple machined bits and a few bolts). I would compare the price against a new Mono Mini caliper by itself (if available).
