    Speed Dial 7 levers.

What is that red knob on the brake lever body?

It the "speed dial" to adjust modulation. See link.

So that would mean, less effort to lock up the brakes, or adjust it so it takes more effort to lock up the brakes? Is it a good upgrade over my stock avid levers?

$18 is for a pair ... see where it says choose size/color
I used to ride to Win ... Now I ride to Grin

While my guitar gently weeps, my bike sits there mocking me

Sold. Getting a pair. I bet they will go well with my mech avid's. Reviews are outstanding.

Is there a difference between the 2010 and 2008 models? 2010 is only a buck more then 08's. They look the same.

Most likely not. Doubt they have changed in a long time. Only the new SL levers are new, but they are the same thing only lighter (and probably not worth the extra $)

You think it's worth the extra buck? I say why not. Nicer to say 2010 levers then 2008. Lol.

$1 more for 2010 is fine. I was just saying not to pay more for the SL's...
