Shimano Deore M575 VS Deore M596

I Just purchased a Trek Fuel 6 and it has Deore M575 brakes on it. They seem "ok" riding around the neighborhood, but trails are not open around me yet so I cannot try them yet. I have been doing a bit of reading and there are mixed reviews on them. I have a set of Deore M596 and they seem to get better reviews and are very well liked. I bought them to put on my hardtail over the winter so have never used them.

Does anyone have experience with either of these and if so what were your experiences?

    Thanks for your input!

The 596 are an updated(pretty much the latest) design and should give better performance than the old 575.
