    Rotor comptibility

    Hey all,

I currently have Avid BB5's on my bike right now. I found some pretty cheap Avid Juicy 3's, but they don't come with the rotors. Could I use my BB5 rotors with the Juicy 3's, or is there an issue with rotor thickness?

    Thanks,
    Mitch

Sorry if this is an uber-noob question, but, well, I'm a noob .

unless they're really really cheap, like <50$, id hold out for something a little better. you can get a set of hayes 9's under 100 bucks, new, with rotors.

your rotors would be fine though.

I agree. The rotors would be fine but the Juicy 3s are not terribly good brakes. If they're very cheap, go ahead and get them. I think the Hayes 9s are about on par with J3.
