need help finding rear disc brske mount adaptors

hI ALL, i am in the process of moving parts from 1 frame (2007 kona caldera) to a new frame (2009 giant XTC1) and am having an issue with the rear brake. its a hayes 9 hydraulic and right now it seems the mount adaptor that was used on the kona will not line up properly on the giant and what is happening is that the wheel will not spin at all as there is so much rub against the piston (I threw out the old pads as thye were worn down to nothing)..does anyone know if these mounting adaptors are model specirfic and if yes , where do i find a new one? tha ks in advance

Same adapters...did you loosen the caliper adjusting bolts and center the brake caliper, or just mount them up?

This may be your problem. Did you push the pistons all the way in when you put the new pads on?
