    Long brake hose for Formula?

Anyone know how to get a long brake hose for Formula brakes?

I'm getting a Big Dummy so I can haul around my two kids + go grocery shopping and stuff. Keeping costs down by swapping over a bunch of parts, but it'll take a long hose if I want to move my Formula brakes. I saw 3 meter hose for Avid and Shimano brakes, but nothing nearly that long for Formula.

Any idea if I can just use the Avid or Shimano hose with Formula end fittings? Any other ideas? My basic problem is I don't really know the specs for any of the hoses or fittings so don't know what's compatible.

    Thanks.

    Go see your LBS.
If you really want to do it yourself, I guess the easiest thing to do would be to check out Formula dealers where you are. Personally, I get all my bits from Chain Reaction (UK).
Not particularly hard to swap hoses - get the hose + fittings, then bleed.

Contacting Formula directly is a good idea. Thanks!

You could get goodridge hose from Chainreaction; ordered by the meter. probably more expensive but then the connectors will be reusable.
