Installing new style front calipers on old style front forks.

I have a ten year old FOX RLC 100 fork that I want to mount a new Hope Tech 3 caliper to, but I notice that the mounting holes are 90 degrees off. Is there a conversion kit available to make that happen? All advice and reference to other threads appreciated.

Thanks for the fast reply cobba! Looks like these might also work:

It won't work if your fork has IS (International Standard) brake mounts.

I'm assuming that you have a 160mm. rotor, then this adapter will work:

The trouble with having an open mind is that people will insist on trying to put things in it.

My front disk is a 183 mm unit, and I ordered this which I am hoping will work. It does not have the PM160 Hope part number however:

The rear rotor is a 160 mm on a Brake Therapy mount and am still confused why the same adapter will not work there. Going to sort it out when I get the front adapter. Hate to think I need another 175 dollar Brake Therapy unit.

    That should work.

The rear brake should bolt directly onto the brake therapy adapter if you are using a 160mm rotor, you will not need any extra adapters.

Very happy to report that this adapter unit worked on both my 183 front AND 160 rear rotors.

Would be interested to know if anyone has any hints on how to get it to center properly. I just left the bolts loose and then squeezed the master cylinder lever hard and tightened them down. Got a bit of squeal on the brakes now so must have something not quite right.
