Ice Tech rotors vs Formula R1? Ice Tech expanding/contracting/rubbing?

I am looking at getting XT785 ice tech brakes. I read a thread about ice tech rotors causing rubbing for some.

Should I get the ice tech rotors or opt for something else? I don't do super long downhill runs. Mostly XC singletrack. There are steep long hills where I ride, but no long multi-minute mountain downhill runs.

Alternatively I was looking at Formlula R1 180/160 rotors.

I've no definitive experience with either....however rubbing for mine is usually caused either by piston issues or slightly out of true rotors.
Ice tech would be my vote
