    Hope mono mini & noise

I have Hope MM both frt & rear , the front disk is a costom Hope 160mm 4 bolts disk. In dry conditions , at low speeds , it has that high pitch squeal ( 10kHz ) , under heavy rain , it sounds like Brittney Spears without pitch correction ( really bad! ).
In the back , I have a Gelfer disk fitted on my Rohloff speedhub , and it's as silent as possible , dry , pourring rain , 3 feet of mud , always silent.
    All with original pads.
So I thought it was related to disks, but I had to remove my fork for repair , put another fork on my bike , dead silence............ Squeals under rain , but lot more silent.

So there is lots of factors with noise & disk brake , not only pad/disk/caliper , I'm curious to hear what it's gonna be with my fork on.......

hmm, either a squeal, shudder, howl, or any combination of the three. you'll hate it.

I personally prefer the soothing sounds of turkey gobble that's so endearing to the Juicy brakes.

I saw in other posts that you had bad experience with Hope & noise , that's too bad.
I came to the conclusion that it's a setup thing since I had the same caliper/disk combo , one noisy , one silent , but on different forks.
Should be a kind of "facing" question.

Just received my "repaired" fork wich in fact , is a brand new one.
Installed everything , and after two weeks , it's DEAD silent.

I came to the conclusion that the original fork on my bike was not "faced"

I have a pair of light & powerfull & silent disk brakes
