Hope Mono 4 lack of power ?

I have been running a set of Hope Mono 4's for the past season in a 180 F&R configuration (A2Z rotors). After sampling a Hayes mag w/ an 8" rotor I decided I wanted to increase my front rotor sizing to an 8". Picked up a Grimeca 200mm rotor (Hope isn't 203mm from what I have read) and a slightly used caliper to work with the new rotor. First ride out I had no power but the lever was firm and the rotor was tracking thru the caliper centerline. Thought the pads might be contaminated (used after all) - cleaned the rotor and got a new set of metalic XT pads. Went for a few rides and I have less power than the 180, Any thoughts ? Thanx

Bed in the pads and rotor first. Then your power should come back.
