    Hope Floating Rotors Queations??

I went for a road/two track ride the other day and noticed when cornering Iam hearing a rubbing sound coming from the caliper. But then when back upright the sound is gone. Could this be a possible rotor flex under the side load of the hub?? Haven't noticed it on my other ride and that has solid rotors (not 2 piece). Whats everyones thoughts on this?

I always that was wheel flex causing the pads to 'ting' the rotor.

I would attribute that to frame/fork flex. For example, rear triangle flex under aggressive cornering would mean the caliper is shoved to one side or the other possibly throwing off the alignment of the caliper to the rotor. The same is true for the fork. I don't see that the rotor would be flexing because there are no forces on the rotor its self.
