Help!Stripped out stud mount.

My buddy stripped out the threads for v brake stud on a Manitou Black fork. I see that Problem Solvers has a stud that is supposed to fix this. Anyone ever use it? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Problem Solvers stuff is pretty stellar. The other option you have is to Helicoil it. We have done this in a pinch and it works pretty well. The kit is expensive though so you may be better off going to any good LBS and getting the Problem Solvers kit from QBP.
