help with shimano xt m8000 caliper seal

Hi Guys, my rear brake stopped working yesterday (leaking oil), found out after opening the caliper that the o-ring seal is damaged.

Obviously my LBS does not have those and offer whole caliper replacement.

Would you be able to tell me exact o-ring size? I could not find anything on shimano site. I found one post with the following details - this post was however around banjo o-rings which are smaller

    inner dia 6.5mm
    outer dia 8.5mm
    1mm thickness

I can take measurements tomorrow to make sure, but if I'm not mistaken they are 1.5mm x 6.5mm x 9.5mm (CS x ID x OD)
Old picture I posted couple years back:

@Aglo, that's the one I found on an older post. It feels like the one on the first PIC is the correct one?

The one I posted goes in between the two parts of the caliper.
The one you posted is used to seal the banjo/caliper/bolt interface and are needed two per caliper.
The dimensions you posted are the correct ones if you want to replace the o-rings on the banjo interface.
You can find them by searching by it's dimension on eBay, or just searching for "Shimano banjo o-ring" on eBay.

Makes sense. I'm after the one you've posted - hopefully I'll be able to find one (ebay or some RS store). I've already checked with few LBS and even shimano warehouse and they keep these at all ...

You can find both on eBay. The smaller ones are easier to find, but I don't think you will have much trouble find either one. I saw one of the bigger ones while doing a quick search on eBay.
Probably your bigger difficulty will be find some seller that's close to you.

I've ordered o-rings from McMaster-carr in the past. They carry a lot of hard to find o-rings inc high-temp ones.

Mcmaster-carr. They carry lots of O-rings.
    9262K628 is a 6.5x9.5x1.5 buna N ring $6.36 for a bag of 100.
They also carry Viton O-rings which are even more chemical resistant.
Delivery is usually within 2-3 days.
