having trouble mountain AVID BBDB brackets!

Just picked up some AVID MECH disc brakes and I cant seem to figure out the right way of mountain them on my fork and frame.

If any one could send me some close up pictures to see whats goin on thatd be awesome.
Or if anyone could tell me a detailed description on how to mount em.

    Thanks....cyahh

I just got a set of AVID's as well, I've rough mounted them tonight (went very fast), but will finalize everything tomorrow and take some pictures. Did you get instructions with the brakes?

BTW what fork do you have? Affects how the front caliper mounts...

Question to the group, how important is it to use a torque wrench? The tq wrenches I have don't go that low in torque values, and I'm wondering if I need to pick up a lower range wrench ...

    thnx

My fork in an 03 RS Duke SL with the U-Turn.

It seems like the rear fits on the front way better. The front one doesnt really fit on the fork but it will fit on the frame in the rear.

Is it ok to swith em around?

The directions i have suck so a picture of how to mount em would be awesome.

I went the lbs and asked the mechanic about a torque wrench and he said it wasnt nescessary.

    Im just tightening till snug.
    I guess thats okk

Smaller of the red knobs faces out, and there's a small "F" on the front adapter and an "R" on the rear.
