Fox/180 to 160 mm rotor/ on Fox F29 adaptor question..

    Hi,
I just picked up a bike that has a Fox F29 rl fork on it. It came standard with Avid Elixir 3's on it and a 180 mm rotor.

I'd like to go down in rotor size to 160mm rotor and Shimano XT brake's.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as mounts go?

    Thanks.

Shouldn't need a mount adapter. The Fox F29 RL should have post mounts. As long as the brakes you are getting have a post mount caliper, you should be able to mount them directly to the fork with no apdapter needed for a 160mm rotor.

    That's what I thought...

However, looking at this fox fork and my other fox fork, one of the white posts on the new fork is quite s bit longer.., is this bc oc the 15mm throghaxle feature??
