    Formula One with Avid disks??

I'm wondering if I would encounter any problems using a Formula One caliper with an Avid 185 adapter and rotor? My 185 rotor is new and since the Formulas don't come with a rotor this could save me a little money if it would work. Also would the One work with an Avid 160 rotor/adapter on the rear wheel without issue?

    Has anyone tried this?

Couldn't say, but the adapters for Formulas are set up for 160, 180 and 200mm size rotors, FWIW. You'll know when you try it, if the 185 is too tall or not for the calipers, or do they bind at the tops of the rotor waves and prevent wheel rotation.

    I run k18s on 185 Avid rotor/adaptors

I figured I'd give it a shot before ordering the formula rotor/adapter, and when I mounted everything up, the pads tracked PERFECTLY on the Avid Cleansweep (round) rotors. I really couldn't believe it worked so well, better alignment than Avid BB7 caliper that the k18s replaced.
