    Formula levers not returning...

    Hi,

i had my K18 disc brakes installed for 3 months.

Lately, i noticed that both the levers when pulled to brake are not returning to their original position upon release. i've since lubed the pivot points at the levers to no avail.

What could be the cause? Do i need to rebleed the brakeset?

    Thanks.

Could need a bleed or fresh fluid pushed through.

My old set of J7s started acting like that when I chipped a piston. It allowed dirt to get into the system and it started gunking up the MC.

I had the same problem and Formula know about it, they had a faulty batch of seals. I sent mine back to them and got new seals fitted, they said that they would offer this service even if the brakes were out of warranty and i was happy with their honesty and turnaround time, i don't think it's a recall issue because not all the seals develop this fault, give them a call.

The seals you mentioned are those round rubber thingy at the levers?

No, they are deeper inside the lever, that's just a shroud to keep muck out.
