final straw with Hayes. Please help

My Hayes Mag discs are driving me crazy. Here's the deal.

For the past 5 rides I've been on the pavement just dinkin' around. Brakes were fine. Although I've had many issues with them over the past year (rebleeding, loss of feel at lever, air bubbles) they totally went away on a 2 hour rough and bumpy ride yesterday; probably my first true "mtb ride" on this set in 4 months. No feel. No modulation. No brakes. It's like the jarring and jumping effected them.

Now when I pull the levers they go back to the bars and I can hear an "empty" squishing sound from the master cylinder. I've become quite the expert at bleeding them, and the levers feel perfect afterward, but they end up back at crap, hitting the bars, when I go on trails.

I don't see any leaks. Could it be my tiny philips screw/o-ring in the master cylinder is sucking in air? Any ideas?

Sounds like your loosing fluid. Maybe new lines. Never seen the bleed screw go bad even when I thought it was striped. If the bleed screw isn't leaking fluid then it should be ok
