    Elixir Brake Bleed video

Thought I'd post this up for all Elixir owners looking for info on how to properly bleed their brakes.

That's a little different from the last Avid video on the subject I saw. Not too impressed about when he tells you the pad contact adjuster should be dialed all the way next to the body, though. Will try this procedure on the next bleed...

Wait, if you pull on the plunger to de-gas the fluid and let the plunger go back, all the gas reincorporates itself back into he fluid.

Just try that with a syringe and water. Plug the end, pull on the plunger and you will see it "boil", now release the plunger so it goes back to normal, all the air that "boiled" out of the water is now gone. Where did it go? Well, it went back into the water.

So yer saying my miniscule experience didn't spot an obvious goof in the vid, eh? One reason I don't like vids, now if I want to go back and see what you mean I'll have to watch this doofus again. Does this have something to do with the vid being copied from pinkbike?
