    can somebody...

...tell me about compatibility / usability of bb7 road brakes on a mtb? Front 185, rear 160 rotors...The brakes would replace my mtn bb7's on my my winter bike, I would like to replace my current levers with the Paul's e-levers or maybe the Goldfingers (1 finger, short travel), . Really not a whole lot of elevation change where I ride...multiple reasons for wanting to switch...Are there any reasons the road bb7's would not work (ie different adapter, rotor size, inherent strength or lack thereof)?

The BB7 road calipers have a different cable pull actuation ratio that allows them to be used with road STI shifters.

Stick with the MTB version of the BB7.

But why stick with mtn? The brake levers I want are CX top-bar levers and have the same pull ratio as the STI's...
