boring bleeding brake thread w/ a real question

I've had a set of Juicy 5's on my 575 for about a year now. They work fine, but I haven't bled them since they were new. They're working great, but I'm thinking I should bleed them just based on time. How do you guys determine when you do a bleed?

For safety, DOT systems should be bled/flushed every 12-18 months, depending on how much you ride, your climate, and a host of other factors. As a rule of thumb, go 12 months minimum.

I use Valvoline Synthetic brake fluid, which is low moisture absorbing, in theory, but fluid changes are so easy that it's not worth the karma of not changing it every year or so.
