Upset Avid BB7 MTN pads falling out

I just bought a used Pugsley and everything was fine when I test-rode it. I got it home and I'm having some major issues...

The pads on back BB7 are falling out. Yes, just coming out whilst riding around gently in my yard. I have no idea how to fix this. I took the wheel off (boy that's a lot of fun with the track ends!), removed the pads and that little clip. Put it back together, slid it into the slot, and everything looks okay at this point. I slide the wheel back on (with some effort), ride around and within a minute the brake is malfunctioning.

Am I missing something here? Is there another piece that should go with the pad/clip/pad setup? Do the pads just slide in there without anything else holding them?

The 2 'feet' on the pads need to click into the pad retainer.

    * The pad retainer can be seen from the outside of newer model BB7's but with the older model BB7's the pad retainer can only be seen by looking inside the caliper.

Ahh! Yes, beautiful, definitely did not see those little indentations before. Thanks so much!
