    Adapter switching?

okay, so this is gonna be the thrid quesiton i ask this week... I am getting 7inch 180mm rotors for my stroker trails, and i need adapters... i have read 5 times now on these forums people saying that a 160mm rear adapter is a 180 front adapter for IS mounts.

I have a 160mm rear brake right now, so do i only need to buy 1 adapter, the 180mm rear? or am i crazy? cause if i can save the 15$ im down..

    Thanks.

160 rear is 180 front. But try this: move the rear to the front to confirm your suspicion before ordering.

hrmmm...though i do trust that everyone here has alot more experiance with brakes and stuff than i do, i think i might just spend the 14$ to be safe.. and then if they are swappable, ill have an extra incase i ever need one...

yep, 160mm rear is 180mm front. I have an adapter that has both numbers stamped in to it right next to each other so you know

will an adapter from my avid bb7 work for my new formula oro k24 brakes? Bottom line, are these adapters compatible with other brakes? considering the size of the rotor is the same at 160mm. thanks
