    2007 Shimano XT Calipers with????

I have a 2007 Rocky Mountain Element 70 that came stock w/ Shimano XT disc brakes and the XT hubs w/ centerlock rotors..

I would like to change the wheelset out to one w/ Chris king hubs and 6 bolt rotors..

Is there any compatability issues with the current brake system, and going to a regular 6 bolt hub w/ out the centerlock hubs??

I would like to get the wheels w/ out switching out the brake system too.. Also, if it is possible, is there anything I should be looking out for??

    Thanks in advance..

no problem at all.... just get 6 bolt rotors along with the new wheels..and you should be good to go (shimano also makes 6 bolt rotors)

Got 6 bolt shimano rotors on mine: RT75 is the model number for the 6 bolt version I believe.

I believe shimano brakes work with other rotors too as they have a narrower braking path, but other brakes won't work with shimano rotors for the same reason.
