Trans North Georgia Adventure (TNGA) Ultraendurance Race Report

Hello everyone! I've started writing up my race report from Trans North Georgia Adventure, a 350 mile self-supported race across the mountains at the top of Georgia with over 56,000 ft of elevation gain. It was quite the experience so I'm writing it up in parts. Part 1 is the prerace report and you can find it here:

Suffering, Sweating, and Smiling: Confessions of an Ultra-Endurance Cyclist: Trans North Georgia Adventure Race Report. Part 1 - Pre Race/Gear Lowdown

Stay tuned for part 2, where I'll actually get into the race itself!

It is awesome to follow your trip. I have ridden with Alex so it's cool to hear about his part there. Can't wait to experience the next section.

    Enjoyed reading your post.

Kudos. Having ridden some sections of the day one route, I know it would take me three or four days to cover it. Tallulah river area is one of my favorite double track rides.

You would be surprised at what you can do if you just put your heart into it. For me it's the time that's the hard part. If you have the time, all you have to do is put your mind to it and get it done. Happy trails!
