    Light recommendations?

Any good light recommendations out there? I've come to realize I enjoy riding at night on some trips, but my current set up isn't the best for this (too few lumens, and burns through batteries).

I'd honestly like to stick with something with replaceable batteries - just not too many options for recharging on many of the trips I do. Though if there was a long life rechargeable battery out there, I might change my mind (if I could get, say, two evenings of 3-4ish hours of riding).

Don't really want to break the bank...ideally hoping to take advantage of a Black Friday sale...

I use a tactical flashlight, with a bar mount. It can be directly usb charged, or you can replace the 18650 battery. Mine is 1000 lumens, but you can get them up to 3200. I like the super low 8 lumen setting for hanging in camp.

Exposure makes really really good lights... for a price. A lot of people like the Light&Motion lights too. Both are rechargeable, but if you run them on the lower settings (still plenty bright) they can last 5-10 hours. If you want a really good beam pattern, you should check out Outbound Lighting.

Normally I stand by light and motion but to be honest I've just had really bad luck with them actually lasting more than their warranty, they always die on my a week after 2 years of use. So take that for what it is worth.

I have a dynamo on my bikepacking bike so that is out but for battery powered I actually like what blackburn is doing, I have there older central light with removable battery so you can swap them if one dies, pretty cool and has a solid light pattern.

For none rechargable this is a seriously good light, it is only 200 lumens but the pattern is great I keep this in my bag for others when there light dies and it always works.
