    Yeti 575 vs. Chumba Evo

    Hi Everybody,

I can't decide between the Yeti 575 and Chumba Evo.

Just wanted to get some opinions on what to choose?

    Thanks!

    crash714, welcome

Great choice of bikes. 575 if you like to ride up, down, around, and forever. Evo if you like the rougher stuff 'cause she's stiff and ready for it.

    Very different bikes

You've chosen two very different bikes to compare. The Yeti 575 is a light trail bike while the Chumba is a beefy trail / freeride bike. They will probably feel quite different. It really depends on what you like to ride. Have you considered a Moto-Lite, a RFX, or a Moment? I would definitely look at those if you are looking for a 5-6 inch travel bike. Good luck with your decision.

I'll be honest and upfront. You will be way better off getting the EVO. Just do research in the CHUMBA forum. Here's an example of a guy who rode the EVO coming off a Turner RFX. http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=216350
