New question here. Where can I find weight comparisons?

Hi MTBR folks, I'm new to this forum.

Does anyone know where I can find weight data comparisons for stock hardtail bikes? I'm trying to decide between Trek 3700-4300, GT Avalanche 2.0 or 3.0, and Giant Boulder/Rincon/Yukon, but the manufacturers don't display bike weights in the tech data on their websites.

It seems that many manufacturers have a basic level of aluminium frame (e.g. Trek 3700 & 3900, GT Avalanche 3.0) and then step up to a higher grade frame (e.g. Trek 4300, GT Avalanche 2.0). From what I understand, the big difference between the frames is weight & strenght - but how much difference? My wife & I are new to MB, so we only want to spend minimum money now and if we like it then we'll upgrade the components. Therefore I want to start with a good frame.

BTW, we will only use the bike mostly for paved roads and some dirt tracks a few days a week, but nothing more than that. I'm 6ft, 80kg (175 lb), she is 5' 8", 70 kg (155 lb).
