My son is trying to decide between the Specialized Rockhopper, base model, and the Gary Fisher Wahoo. Any opinions or suggestions. the decision is driving me, and him, nuts.

Main difference seems to be the front shock?? Wahoo has two springs, one on each side. Rockhopper, a spring on one side and hydraulic damping on the other. What diff can that make?

Prices are equal.
