Upgrade/Repair Hardtail or Just rent Bikes/Save?

Between Kitsuma and Star Gap, I broke my Front Suspension on Kitsuma yesterday, had a hard pedal strike that may have bent a pedal swindle and had to deal with my chain dropping off the sprocket and several shifting issues that impacted my time.

Between repairing the pedals, casette and derailleur and upgrading the suspension on the Hardtail , it's 300 dollars. Really thinking long and hard about this repair and upgrade . Is it worth it, to just use as a Trainer Bike or should I just trade it in or sell it as is? This isn't the stock fork, it's an upgrade and it's from that which I'm basing the 300 dollar repair from.
