    Surly 1x1 sizing?

I plan on purchasing a 1x1 frameset next week, but have a question about sizing. I currently have 2 bikes that the frames fit good for my height...26" with an 18" frame and a 29er with a 17" frame. Now I want the 1x1 so that I have the option of running 26", 650b, or 29". With the ability to run those sizes, should I get a 16" or 18" 1x1 frameset? I'm around 5'10"-5'11" if that helps. Thanks

Best measurement to go by is the Effective Top Tube Length. You should be able to find the measurements online for your bikes.

The 1x1 has a pretty short ETT so I'm guessing the 18" will be your best bet, but compare the numbers. I'm 5'10 1/2" tall and have an 18" 1x1 that fits me well.

Yea, I went with the 18". If anyones looking for orange 1x1's cheap, bikeman.com has them for $244. With shipping it cost me $260! I actually got the last 18" they had, but they have 14",16",20", and 22" left. Geat deal! Hoping to pick up a Large Marge built wheelset with 2.7" Nevegal tires for it from a member here as well. I can't wait
