    Superlight to Anthem improvement??

Currently riding an 2006-07ish Superlight (older style rear triangle). Came across a good deal for a 2009 Anthem X1 frame set in good shape.

Superlight pros - frame warranty, simple design, I like the design
Cons - 4-5 year old frame, color is so so, needs painting bad

AX1 pros - better shock (RP23 vs Prog 5th Element), sweet color, newer frame
Cons - wont be able to sell the SL frame for what AX frame costs + any parts that wont transfer

Ridden the SL for a while, and the AX just in the parking lot so I cant tell much on ride feel. I do mostly trail riding and about 3 or 4 races a year that are mostly back country type rides ( heck I may even need a 5" bike or FS 29er).

    Any suggestions or other views??

    Anthem X1 is a do-it-all sweet frame...and light too!

It would be ideal to keep the sl AND buy the anthem

why is this......what does one offer that the other does not? arent they both essentially 4" XC bikes.

my only real beef with the SL is it is true that the rear freezes up under braking due to the design. Ive got to believe that the maestro is much more active through all types of situations.
