What is the trick to running the cables through frame..it has no tubes or anything to help guide the housing. Or guide me to some threads..I did look a little.

    snaking cables through carbon frame

Park Tool has a handy little tool that consists of lightweight cables and magnets. You could make something similar yourself.

If old cables are still installed, you can use those to pull the new cables in.

What I do is push the cable through and hold a flashlight in my mouth looking into the hole. Then I stick a J bend spoke in there and rotate the cable, which makes it flop around until I can see it. Then I hook it with the J bend and pull it through the hole.

For super annoying routing, like one time I had a Fuji SLM carbon frame with "I Beam" down tube. Basically a round carbon tube with a vertial fin down the center. Yeah, from an engineering pov it's retarded. In that case, run a string with a magnet on the end down the tube and fish it out. Then tape the cable to it.
