    Sette bikes?

does anyone here have any experience with the Sette bike line? I am very seriously looking at the Derro 2.0 but have yet to find any type of review online.

for what it is worth my riding buddy bought the sette

hardtail, xtr, about 2 years ago. He paid around $2600 and it is just under 20#. He likes it a lot and at a time when a lot of bikes are over 5 grand, this bike is great value. Fox fork and all the xtr components. He got stans rims and stupid light tires that he soon tossed, and replaced with a better tire. He has been riding for over twenty years, also has a Specialized dually so he has a good idea of what he likes.
It is what it is, a light carbon frame hardtail with top of the line components, fast, reliable, and great ride, for a price cheaper than you could find in most other places.

And no I don't work for Price Point.

I just replaced the Sette Ace that I started riding about 3 years ago. It was ridden hard, often and crashed several times. I never had any issues with it and thought it was a great value bike.

Edit: Nothing was wrong with my old frame, I just felt the urge to build something new and had they money to upgrade a bit.

I had their carbon hardtail frame for 2 years, and loved it! It was plenty stiff, very light, and cheap. I had mine built to 18lbs, needless to say, it was FAST! Unfortunately I snapped the chainstay on it .
The day Sette received my frame, they sent me a new one! Great customer service.

I did end up getting new bike, but only because a deal to good to pass up came along. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one!

    For what it's worth.

I rode Tour Divide 2011 on a Sette Edge.
